Card of the Week: Hilarion – Divine Healing

Hilarion from Keepers of the Light Oracle Deck.

I have decided to change the title of these weekly posts from “Tarot Card of the Week” to simply “Card of the Week”. I have been drawn to pulling cards from both Tarot and Oracle card decks, so these weekly posts may now include either.

This week I pulled from Keepers of the Light Oracle Cards. The card I drew was Hilarion – Divine Healing.

Hilarion is a spiritual master who lived during the 4th century in the Middle East. He was so devoted to service that after his parents died he gave all of their estate to his brothers and the poor.  During the remainder of his life, it was said that he performed healing and miracles with his touch and prayer, and lived in a cave as a hermit.

If you are feeling overwhelmed by everything around you, allow the healing light of Hilarion to surround and recharge you. It is ok to retreat during this time to allow yourself to spiritually cleanse and regain your energy.  Before you share your energy with others through healing, advice, or support, be sure that you are filled with love, light, and energy. It is not noble to sacrifice your own health and development for others. You can be of better service if you are energized within yourself first.

Tarot Card of the Week: Two of Wands

Two of Wands from the Universal Waite Tarot Deck.

As I was shuffling the  Universal Waite Tarot Deck, the Two of Wands jumped and flipped face up, so this is the card of the week.

The Two of Wands depicts a man, holding a small replica of the world in his hand, and he is looking out in the distance, over his land and his successes as well as successes to come. This card symbolizes someone who is strong, successful, and powerful, on the verge of more to come.

Do you feel you are at a point in your life now where you feel secure with what you have achieved? Do you have more security and stability now than ever before? If not yet then it is possible that you will feel that way soon. Be open to the opportunities that may exist for you in the world.

I also get a sense that this card could be interpreted based upon what we as a society are going through right now. Many may be wondering where we are headed, what will happen in the world. How things have changed so much. There may be feelings of nostalgia.

Things always change, that we cannot prevent. However when I have looked at history, humans have overcome difficult challenges, including wars and pandemics. Although things change, and there has been great hardship and sadness, we learn from it, and have overcome and thrived. I believe we will get there again, in time.

May your week be blessed with happiness.

Tarot Card of the Week: Two of Cups

Two of Cups from the Universal Waite Tarot Deck.

From the Universal Waite Tarot Deck, this week’s card is the Two of Cups.

This card depicts a man and woman standing in front of each other. Each is holding a cup and appears to be exchanging it with the other. This card symbolizes the beginning of a new relationship, harmonious partnerships and the sharing of love, emotion, and knowledge. Generally it indicates a beginning of a love affair, but it could also indicate the pledging of friendship or a harmonious, symbiotic union or partnership. The man and the woman symbolize different qualities that are coming together.

This week it is possible that you may meet someone who you will develop a close bond with. Or it could be that you develop a deeper connection with someone you already know. The person may be a good source of support for you, and able to help you through issues you may be facing.

Your partnership with this other person will be a good balance for you, you can learn from each other, and heal together. Your different qualities will be a symbiosis, and complimentary to the development of the relationship.

Have a super week!
