Card of the Week: Nine of Cups

Nine of Cups from the Morgan Greer Tarot.

Nine of Cups from the Morgan-Greer Tarot was the card drawn for the week.

This card depicts a man proudly standing with nine cups lined up on a table behind him. He is well dressed, likely successful and wealthy.  The Nine of Cups is associated with achievements, completion, and satisfaction.

This week, you may realize that you have attained the physical and emotional comfort that you have been seeking. Show it off, you have reason to. You may even want to celebrate. The man in the card has a red nose and cheeks, makes me wonder if he drank wine out of all those cups and is feeling giddy.

Be proud of what you have achieved, don’t be shy about it.

Card of the Week: King of Pentacles / Bison

King of Pentacles / Bison card from Animal Totem Tarot.

This week’s card was drawn from Animal Totem Tarot. The card I pulled was King of Pentacles / Bison.

This card depicts a bison proudly showing off his prizes of a gold pentacle and a crown hanging from one of his horns. Scars on his face show that he had a tough fight to win his achievements.

Bison is a survivor. He can thrive in the most harsh conditions, and was almost hunted to extinction. No matter where Bison finds himself, he knows he can conquer his surroundings. This is the energy of the King of Pentacles…confident that you have the resources and instinct to obtain what you need. You may need to scrap, fight, stand your ground, but you innately know it will be worth it once you have manifested that which you have fought for.

Message from Bison:

“Where you are is as good as it is going to get until you can master the here and now. In this place, you have all you need to tether yourself to a past that can no longer sustain you or provide you with the tools you require to build a life fit for a king. The secret is to stop looking at what is around you and start focusing on what is inside of you. For it is the conditions of the inner landscape that determine the outcome of your physical world.”

Card of the Week: Eight of Fire

Eight of Fire card from Angel Tarot Cards.

The Angel Tarot Cards is the deck that I used for the card of the week. I drew the Eight of Fire.

This beautiful card  depicts a dragon wrapped around a wand, with seven wands darting and swirling. Waves can be seen in the body of water behind the scene.

Just like the dragon, it is time to hold on because things are going to start moving! Any delays you may have had in your plans are now over, and it’s full speed ahead. It could come a surprise to you, and may seem a bit overwhelming as you witness the frenzy.  But you have been hoping and planning for this, and it will feel good to see it finally happening now.

Remember to take time to stay grounded if things seem too chaotic, however keep in mind that the momentum will continue. Enjoy the positivity and spotlight!
